Why PCG exists
I wanted to build the kind of company I wished I saw more often.
I have worked for many different residential and commercial construction companies over the years. A common denominator I kept seeing was customers being taken advantage of and ending up with poor craftsmanship, poor customer service, or both. I also saw workers who were not always given the tools, support, or leadership they needed to succeed.
I knew I wanted to build something different. I take pride in my work, and I want every customer to end up with a beautiful product and a pleasurable experience getting there. I also want the people doing the work to feel respected, supported, and proud of what we create together.
To me, that means leaders should lead by example, everyone should work hard for each other, and the whole team should be focused on creating beauty and bringing real value to the customer.

Meet the founder
Alex
I have been working in construction professionally for 15 years, but I grew up around it long before that. Both my dad and stepdad worked in the industry, and I spent a lot of time growing up helping them on different construction jobs.
What has always pulled me toward this work is the creative side of it. I do not look at a kitchen, bathroom, deck, or built-in as just a list of things to install. I am looking at the proportions, the materials, the lines, how things meet, how the space functions, and how all of those decisions come together. There is an artistic side to construction that I really enjoy—taking an idea or a difficult problem and turning it into something that feels intentional and beautiful.
That is why the projects I enjoy most are the ones where design and problem solving come together. Bathrooms, kitchens, decks, and custom carpentry give me the opportunity to think through a problem, work with my hands, and create something that is both useful and visually satisfying. That part of the work feels less like simply completing a job and more like practicing a craft.
I also come from a big family as the oldest of 12, and I grew up playing team sports. Those experiences shaped how I think about leadership. I want to build a company where everyone is respected, leaders show by example, and we all work hard for each other.
How PCG works
The standards behind the work.
Craftsmanship
I take pride in my work and expect the customer to end up with a beautiful product. The details matter, and the finished work should feel intentional—not just completed.
Communication
One of the biggest problems I have seen in construction is poor or missing communication. Customers should know what is happening, what to expect, and when something changes.
Follow-through
Expectations and timelines mean very little if nobody follows through on them. I believe in doing what we said we would do and addressing problems directly when they come up.
Teamwork & Respect
I want to build a company where everyone is respected, leaders lead by example, and we work hard for one another. When the team is set up to succeed, the customer gets a better experience and a better result.
